“Chilling Out at the Wigwam!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2012

I went to the Wigwam to attend a scheduled event for my Company. I expected the usual treatment and ammenities I'm used to receiving as a frequent business traveler. What I did not expect was the warm and friendly, and highly attentive, staff members ewho made the event truly special.

This history of the Wigwam is there for all to see on the walls in the various photographs and artifacts. It reminded my of a bygone era, a simplier time, and cherished boyhood memories. I'm only sorry this was my first stay, and hope to stay there again soon and bring my family to enjoy all the Wigwam has to offer!

Room Tip: The rooms in the 600 series are huge!

In the spirit of restraint and understatement let me say the service at the wigwam is absolutely terrible. From the valet to the restaurant servers no one even pretended to care. Not even the presence of my 88 yo mother got anyone moving. Giving 1 star because zero is not an option

This hotel was well worth the money! perfectly manicured lawns, loads of room in my room, and such accommodating staff! I would go back in a heartbeat! If you have kids- there is bouche ball courts and a pool with two water slides!!

We are extremely pleased to learn how much you enjoyed your stay at The Wigwam. All of us here love hearing from our guests about their impressions of our resort and any impact we have made on their overall experience. Our 25-foot tower with two twisting water slides is a great way for kids and adults to have some fun and stay cool; thank you for mentioning them. We’re all hoping that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back again soon!

Our first trip to Arizona Sprint Training. I got the airfare with frequent flier miles, so we thought we'd splurge on the hotel. I am so glad we did. The room was in a quadplex building, and was huge. Even though we were right by the main entrance and valet parking, there was very little noise.
The staff was very pleasant and always helpful. We were given a golf cart ride to Reds for breakfast, and offered rides throughout the complex, but it's such a beautiful setting we preferred to walk. It was a great stay. Thank you!

How very exciting that your first stay at The Wigwam was also your first trip to Arizona for spring training! March is such a fun time to be here at the resort with our close proximity to many of the ballparks. We hope you had as much fun at the game as you did at The Wigwam and that you will return to visit us again soon!

I was there last week for a conference. The resort is wonderful and you feel like you are on an island far away from the hassles of life. All the staff, no matter what position they hold, could not have been more friendly, helpful and accomodating. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

Describing the feeling of being at The Wigwam as an island away from the hassles of life certainly paints a peaceful picture. Great large suite type rooms with SW flair. Loved walking around the grounds and viewing the many roses everywhere. Enjoyed the history tour of the resort.

The Wigwam’s history dates back 80 years and is deeply entwined with Arizona’s history. We’re excited that while staying with us you enjoyed exploring our past as well as our grounds with its more than 8,000 rose bushes. It brings us great joy to learn that you plan on returning again to The Wigwam; we can’t wait to welcome you back.

This was the fourth time we have stayed at the Wigwam Resort for our annual golf trip. The courses are great, accommodations terrific and the service is superior. Especially Belinda at Red's. Belinda always had our table ready for our early morning tee time and even placed our lunch orders for us so all would be ready when we stopped between 18 hole rounds. Once you arrive you really don't even need a car as nearly everything you could need is either on the property or just across the street.

We just love that each year you and your buddies get together at The Wigwam for a golf trip. Our three 18-hole championship golf courses are all uniquely challenging and diverse and we’re delighted you and everyone else enjoys them so much. Your gracious comments with regards to our staff are greatly appreciated and will be passed along to them. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
