Location: about 35 km north of Oudshoorn on the N328. Oudshoorn looks an interesting place, and you can ride a steam train from George to this town on certain days of the week if that appeals. Rooms: varied. We were in a cottage looking down on the grounds towards the pool. The room was spacious and basic. Very comfortable. We were in a superior room, and probably worth paying more to have one of the two cottages that look down on the grounds. Could prove to be very romantic!!
Facilities: internet is not free and we thought quite expensive. Do not plan to use it, but catch up elsewhere before you arrive here.
Facilities: internet as discussed, nice swimming pool. Nice grounds to walk in. bar-b-que on some nights, nice grounds to stroll in, very countryfied location.
Staff: very nice and most helpful. We had fun with the fellows who have a great sense of humour.
Parking: secure and undercover.
Summary: Interesting stop-over. We had two nights and enjoyed the restful break.
Request one of the two cottages looking down over the lawns towards the pool. Cost abit more but wor...
