Here is a chance to drive up the lovely countryside to Oudtshoorn, learn about ostriches and have fun. Some members of our group got to feed the birds, others rode them, some stood on the eggs. We were all lucky enough to eat fan fillet of ostrich in their restaurant for lunch.
It was especially interesting to understand the vast difference between the these ostriches and the Australian emu.
They do a good job of welcoming tourist by offering you a free beverage while things get organized. They have clean washrooms and a pricey gift shop.
