“Great Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

We chose this restaurant from a list of recommendations in our Guest House. We were not disappointed and my husband really enjoyed the Ostrich Stroganoff. We had walked to the restaurant from our Guest House and sat outside, which was very pleasant. Our waitress, Renay, was delightful paying very good attention to us and serving us with a lovely smile. During the meal, lightning started in the skies all around, followed by thunder and eventually a very, very heavy storm which lasted about 45 mins. As we had walked, we were not able to leave in the heavy rain and were also not looking forward to the walk back in the now very wet and, in places, flooded streets. Renay came and told us that she had spoken to the owner of the restaurant, Brian, who had very kindly offered to take us back in his car once the rain stopped which he did. This was a very kind gesture and we were very grateful indeed. This completed our excellent evening out and one which we will remember. Thank you again Brian for the lift!

“Good simple food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013

We liked this restaurant a lot. Amazed to find a sushi chef - which my daughter loved! The menu was very good and covered lots of options. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sitting outside was a delight. Very good value. We ate there on both nights - of our two night stay!

“Exquisite!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

What a treat! We were very pleased to hear that the owner of Brian's Grill had opened another restaurant and even more so when we saw the menu. There is something for everyone and the service was great. The tomato bredie was delicious and just the way my Gran used to make it.

“Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

Have to say, the food was nice / ok. I suppose the food will get better in time as we were advised that it is a new restaurant. The service was good and the prices not too bad.
