We had a 2 night stay here on our holiday and it is beautiful. The locations is stunning (although a bit out of town), the area gorgeous, the rooms amazing, the staff fab (Tarina is wonderful and made us feel like family from the second we arrived) and the pool and grounds a picture.
Add to that great food (breakfast very good) & the set evening meal if you want it first rate and great value, resident Ostriches, Peacocks, friendly dogs, birds (catch the Red BIshops in the reeds) and easy access to the Swartberg Pass, Ostrich Farm, Winery, Cango Caves etc. this place is hard to beat. The obvious pride shown in the fact that the house has been in the family for 6 generations is inspiring and the history very interesting.
Worth a few quid extra for the quiet beauty alone.
