“excellent accomodation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

We spent only one night last October 2013 but it was enough to understand the high quality of this accomodation. Warm hospitality, faboulous breakfast with freshly baked bread just like to be at home. Rooms with every comforts you can desire. Lovely and quiet garden with fantastic sight to the river. Highly recommended.

One night will have to be 2 or more nights when you visit again. Its the perfect spot to be at home away from home. So happy you enjoyed all we have to offer.

This is our third visit to this wonderful place which is situated in the heart of Oudshoorn. We were welcomed with open arms (as usual) and at the same time left to carry on with whatever we wanted to. Our first evening was spent at a Restaurant up the road which makes the most delicious pizzas and serves local beer. (There are a wide variety of restaurants to choose from) We were given a self catering room to stay in which was meticulous and had all the amenities that we needed. It was separate from the main house so we did not have to wake anyone when we came home late. The second day was spent at a wine farm about 15 minutes up the road from the guesthouse and then a braai for the rugby in Des's and Liz's lovely entertainment area. (you have to see this braai!) Breakfast was a range of cereals, fruit and the biggest, tastiest Spanish omelette you've ever seen together with juice and coffee, Thank you guys for a very enjoyable weekend. You are excellent hosts, your place is wonderful, and we look forward to our next visit.

Glen thank you so much for all these wonderful words. We just feel so chuffed when we see our hard work paying off.
You always welcome to visit for a special omelette.
Keep well and keep fit for that next visit.

We had a warm welcome from Des and fresh coffee which was great as it was a rather chilly day. Our room (#1) was charming, I loved the antique dresser, the tranquil decor, the shiny wooden floors and the dining room where we had delicious breakfast.
The garden is great and the hide is an added perk, but unfortunately, due to the rain we couldn't enjoy them much.
The shower was excellent too.
We had a great time.
Thanks!!

What a pity that we only stayed for one night at this place! The place is truly amazing. So close to the main street of Oudtshoorn, and still oh so quiet! From the rooms (which are very clean and romantic), you can walk into the beautiful (and very spacious!) garden, with a lovely swimming pool and relax area.

Close to the Yotclub B&B, there is a fantastic restaurant called Jemima's, which can not be missed. You can easily walk from the B&B to the restaurant, which is great so you can enjoy the South African wines without driving.
The breakfast at the Yotclub B&B was sumptuous and delicous! The fruit cocktail and the freshly baked (and even still warm) bread were amazing!
Thank you for this fantastic stay!

Well thats quite funny not putting the S with Ronnies ex shop. Hope you got some good photos there? Lovely having you and if it was a bit short, next time stay an extra day or 2. Have a great season and keep well.

Lovely comfortable house very conveniently located for walking distance to town and good restaurants. Des made us feel very welcome and was very helpful in making recommendations about where to go and how to get there. Lovely also just to relax in the beautiful garden. Homemade breakfast are outstanding. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: We stayed in the cottage just outside the main house and were very comfortable

Our 2 night stay in the Yotclub on 15th and 16th Sept were two of our happiest nights in South Africa. From the moment Des welcomed us with freshly brewed coffee and showed us our charming room (room 5) we knew we had hit lucky. It was a very large , quiet room facing the river with it's own outside space, with a very large comfortable double bed. Breakfast was superb with beautifully presented fresh fruit and yoghurt followed by the yellowest eggs I have ever seen! Des then proceeded to point into the distance to the farm from where they had come! Talk about food providence! Des took great interest in helping us plan our daytrip and even in planning our onward journey. We never met his wife who was busily minding the grandchildren. I hope she got just reward! Cannot recommend highly enough

Room Tip: Room 5 is away from the main house, looks over the river and has it's own outside space
