The Hunter's were very friendly and made you feel at home. They have well kept spacious rooms with lovely balconies and take an interest in their guests. They are also very helpful as to what to visit in the area. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at Pumula Lodge twice now and will stay again if we're ever lucky enough to be back in Knysna, that says it all really, however, Rensia & Pieter are wonderful hosts and full of knowledge, happy to advise If asked but not intrusive if no help required. The garden is a lovely quiet haven with an inviting pool, maybe a few more sun loungers ? The rooms are an adequate size with a spacious balcony, perfect for sundowners! Hot water is always available and the shower rooms are just what is needed. The only downside I can think of at the moment is having to leave..............!!!!

This was our second stay here and we were pleased with our accommodation, the atmosphere and peaceful surroundings. Rensia, our hostess, was pleasantly attentive and gave us plenty of tips about local attractions, of which there are many. Our breakfast was great and there were choices to suit most palates. Many species of birds in the garden make for a really natural experience. The youngest in our party (aged 13) enjoyed her swim in well maintained pool.

Room Tip: Room 5 is a great room because it has a bath as well as a shower and it has windows on the side, in...

A wonderful accomodation on the Garden Route. Rensia and Peter are extremley helpful hosts. The breakfasts are to die for. If you are a fan of birds then you will see many different spieces in the beautifully landscaped garden. We recommend a visit here on your travels.

Wow! What can I say? On arrival at Pumula Lodge, we were greeted with friendliness and warmness. After checking in, we were given an information brief by Rensia on what to do and where to go in the Knysna area. The rooms are outstanding. The housekeeping is excellent and the lodge caters for everything. The lodge is situated in a quiet area of Knysna with a beautiful garden, swimming pool and lapa. The birdlife is plentifull and one can just drift in the peacefull surroundings. Piet and Rensia are excellent hosts and they went out of their way to make our stay as nice and comfortable as possible. This is definitely a place where you can overnight or enjoy a longer stay.

Pieter was very friendly at our arrival. We stayed for 1 night. We had a warm welcome and we got support regarding restaurants for dinner. What we missed was a call back regarding the restaurant suggestions. The rooms are clean but small, for one night definitely OK. Rensia was highly engaged to find furhter B&B for us to stay.
