“Simply beautiful, but take your car, it's a walk and a half otherwise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

So there are several places to view the heads in knysna. Start by driving up to the top of the cliffs and park where a local guy watches your car for a few rand. They have a board walk that looks over the ocean and surrounding cliffs. Then drive down to the beach witch offers several access points to walk on sand or among the rocks as well as picnic or BBQ. The access all the way on the right was our favorite. The waves roll in between big boulders and give a spectacular view. Their is even a bridge you can stand on and watch waves roll under your feet...enjoy

“Stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

Totally breathtaking! Find a place to watch the sunset (or sunrise) and drink in nature's wonders. There are a few places that you can grab a bite with a fabulous view if you don't feel like taking your own.

“Ideal boat trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013

For a totally relaxing, enjoyable journey take the trip to the Knysna Heads. We enjoyed the scenery, the experience and had the added bonus of being able to enjoy good local (Knyna Lagoon) oysters and first class choice of South African (Franschhoek; Stellenbosch & Paarl Valley Wines). Trip is also suited for children with enough to occupy them so not to get bored. When in Knysna, take the trip - well advised.

“A must see on the Garden Route”

It's a pity that development has been allowed to spoil the natural beauty of the Heads however it is still a very beautiful and worthwhile visit

Stunning, the colours of the rocks are amazing. Park the car and do the short walk. You get some great views.
