We were recommended this restaurant by Hermanus Guest House ( FANTASTIC! by the way) We went along with no preconceived ideas about the place. The owner and staff were great ,surroundings cosy and inviting without being posh. The food was great and we will remember the home cooked tastes of quality products and knowledge of flavourings for many years to come. We had soup to start , traditional stews for mains (yum) and the largest dessert I have ever seen to finish, a meringue filled with fruits and ice ream and cream. 1 glass of wine 1 beer and the whole bill came to £20 for 3 courses for 2 people.
Have no doubt we will be back when we next get to Hermanus
