we stayed here sadly only for one night in January, on our way back to Cape town after the garden route.
we stayed in the bedroom on the garden floor, which had a new england kind of feel to it. When we arrived after a long drive it was nice to be able to throw open the doors and sit and have a cold beer on the patio. in the garden there is a small pool which we unfortunatly didn't get time to use.
the entrance hall, reception area and breakfast room had more of a modern out of africa feel to them.
the one thing it did notice was how clean every thing was - spotless, furniture, floors, cultery, everthing.
Our host was very welcoming, and when ask for a recommendation for diiner he told us to try B's Steak house, which we did and it was fantastic.
i feel i should mention that we walk to B's which was probably 15 minutes away and we felt safe in doing so.
Though not in Hermanus i would recommend this guest house to anyone looking to stay in Hermanus, or just passing through like us.
