“Good spot for an overnight stay”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2011

All in all, Cosy Corner provided us with what we needed at a good rate. We would have liked some flexibility on staying a bit later than 10h00 especially as it did not appear that anyone was coming to stay the following night. We did appreciate being given a better room on requesting a bath. Perhaps they could respond to requests in a more customer friendly way. It is more a case of how they came across as appeared to be otherwise at times although it was only the checkout time that we were a little unhappy with in the end.

Rooms were clean with decor being a bit out of date but very functional. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was good and included both cooked and fruit, cereals etc.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2010

I stayed here for one night with my two teenage sons driving from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. In short it was just what we wanted - a clean, welcoming and good value place to stay en route.
Cosy Corner provides excellent directions and it is easy to find coming off the N2. There is free parking on their driveway. Our room was perfect for us - 3 singles rather than the usual double and fold away bed we often end up with. The room also had heating which is not always the case in SA! Our hosts were very friendly and chatty and were on hand to recommend somewhere in town (a 5 minute drive) to get an evening meal which turned out to be very good. Breakfast was also nice and relaxed. Recommended for anyone stopping off in George.
