Our day was greeted with rain but the forecast said it was to clear.
Deciding to drive out to Simonstown to "get away" for a while we pulled into Black Marlin for lunch. Because of the unpredictable weather there was only one other table outside. Now having a choice we choose one with the best views across False Bay.
Paddy (Our Waiter) and welcomer meet was a gem. His eager smile and a welcoming disposition was a pleasure to experience and the Warm welcome we expect to always get when frequenting a restaurant was incredible.
We ordered a bottle of Boschendal Blanc De Noir (R135) and starters. (West Coast Mussels and Prawn Spring Rolls) both were fresh, tasty and was just enough to get the appetite going on finalising our main course options we waited a maximum of 10 minutes before they arrived. What a treat both to the eye and the stomach, the seafood was presented was delicious and filling. We could not fault the dishes at all. Our afternoon was rounded off with a Dessert Trio which was incredible.
Thanks Guys and Well Done. We will be back perhaps for Mothers Day..
