“Interesting place to eat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013 via mobile

Don't let the shopping centre type of cafe put you of. Very good service and food with plenty of options. Three different kitchens in the one establishment quick easy and fresh probaly wouldn't go there for a romantic dinner but greAt to have a nice meal

“A Cape Town Highlight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

Yes, this is what holiday memories are made of! We had heard a vague recommendation and decided to eat here before the movies. No reservations, you stand in line and we ended up eating at the bar, but that was great - in front of the Japanese kitchen in action! Fantastic sushi, great hot dishes, top-class waiter service (didn't catch his name, but he was the most professional we came across on our trip) Just sorry we didn't have more time to savour - but then it's a busy, buzzy place, not one for an intimate, romantic dinner a deux. We'll be back!

“Best place to eat at V&A”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

It was a surprise to find such a great place in a shopping centre. Its doesnt take reservations but the wait is usually not long.

The sushi is great and the fish dishes are very fresh.

The service was very good. They clearly train the staff well.

Worth a visit.

“Divine Sushi”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2013

One of the most popular sushi places in Cape Town and deservedly so.
I go at least 2 - 3 a month.
The sushi is absolutely divine and you can watch while it is being made.
The other dishes on the menu is also great, fish always a winner.
They do not take reservations however, so budget an extra 20 - 30 minutes waiting time.

It is vibey and the wait goes rather quick. Nobody seems too bothered either.

TIP: try and sit inside if you do not appreciate hungry shoppers drooling over your food.
