A great spot to explore cape town from as it is walking distance to the waterfront, interesting sights just around the corner in the Bo cap area. The room was clean and comfortable, the hosts (Bruce, cocoa and Teddy) were very friendly, with good information. Bruce very kindly gave me breakfast early on my last day. Had a room with a private entrance, which would suit some but dealing with all the locks at the entrance nearly did my head in!

I stumbled upon the Orange on Rose Guest House run by Bruce who runs Rose Lodge as well. I desperately needed last minute accomodation for myself and my dog in peak season. The rate was excellent and I did not expect much. I was pleasantly suprised by the accommodation. It was clean and practical. Had everything one could possible require. Bruce and his staff were always accommodating when I had various requests from replacing a fan in my room to doing laundry. I would definitely stay here again and would have stayed for more than 10 days if there had been availability.

We stayed 3 nights at the end of our journey through SA in this nice B&B in Cape Town.
The rooms were nice and practical, though not really big and we really enjoyed the elegant bathroom.
We were really astonished how easy it was to reach everything we wante to see by walking. That was a great plus for us as we had to travel most of our time in SA by car.
Boo Kap is a nice and colourful quarter in Cape Town. We liked it very much.
Only if you do not sleep very well it might disturb you that the muezzin calls for the prayer at 4 AM. The breakfast was very nice for us and we had everything we wanted and the warm croissants were delicious. As there is not so much space you are always close to other guests and we had some wonderful chats in the morning.
For us it was really nice to stay there in the heart of Cape Town and our very nice host, Bruce, made it even more comfortable for us to stay there!

We had a lovely stay at Orange on Rose during our recent visit to Cape Town. It is perfectly situated with everything you want, need or have to go to within walking distance. Lovely place and lovely reception. Do make this your home away from home when visiting Cape Town.
