We stayed 3 nights at the end of our journey through SA in this nice B&B in Cape Town.
The rooms were nice and practical, though not really big and we really enjoyed the elegant bathroom.
We were really astonished how easy it was to reach everything we wante to see by walking. That was a great plus for us as we had to travel most of our time in SA by car.
Boo Kap is a nice and colourful quarter in Cape Town. We liked it very much.
Only if you do not sleep very well it might disturb you that the muezzin calls for the prayer at 4 AM. The breakfast was very nice for us and we had everything we wanted and the warm croissants were delicious. As there is not so much space you are always close to other guests and we had some wonderful chats in the morning.
For us it was really nice to stay there in the heart of Cape Town and our very nice host, Bruce, made it even more comfortable for us to stay there!

We had a lovely stay at Orange on Rose during our recent visit to Cape Town. It is perfectly situated with everything you want, need or have to go to within walking distance. Lovely place and lovely reception. Do make this your home away from home when visiting Cape Town.

Rose Lodge was the perfect place for us. Bruce helped us tremendously with tips about the city, car rental and reservations for dinner. The Lodge was lovely, clean and central in its location. The staff was very helpful, courteous and careful about our security. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh. Everything was wonderful and we heartily recommend Rose Lodge and look forward to a return trip to Cape Town just so that we can go back to Rose Lodge.

I have to thank Bruce for a really great stay. My partner and I from Jo'burg came down for one day to see the World Cup semifinals. Rose Lodge is very convenient and is easy to get to (10-15 min walk) from the new Airport-City bus terminal at the Civic Centre; Easy access to the City and/ Stadium/ Cape Quarter and Waterfront shopping districts.

Bruce is a super friendly Canadian and takes great pride in helping his guests. He didn't have crazy room rates for the World Cup, a sign that he's not after a quick buck but wants his guests to return! I agree with many of the other posters that his breakfast is really good! The rooms are clean and comfortable and altogether the experience was good value.

A highly recommended stay and my partner and I would definitely consider returning again.
