“Best Ending”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2011

My husband I ended our African holiday here at 2Inn1.
Cape town was most definitely a surprise. We found it charming, yet metropolitan with a San Fransisco feel. Here we found beautiful coastline with the magnificent table mountain above.
2Inn1 is in the perfect location. Our room upstairs had an awesome view and cozy little sitting area from which to enjoy it. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped with coffee, tea, water etc. music and candies. The bathroom was beautiful, great shower! My husband and I both enjoyed massages in house...thank you :)
Each morning a wonderful buffet is put out for breakfast and hot items are cooked to order.
I can't say enough about the staff who were so so helpful in giving us activity info and restaurant suggestions. (The abalone at Capt Jacks was fabulous) Each was ready to assist and so pleasant, we felt very welcomed.

“Amazingly unreal!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2011

In all my travels around the world, I have never experienced such amazing service from a hotel. The room alone had several wonderful surprises like panic button, local cellphone, nespresso, free soft drinks, etc. I especially love the feeling of heated floor when I wake up to brush my teeth in the morning. These are the little things that made a huge difference.

The freshly prepared breakfast was fantastic as well. The omelette, definitely the best I had. And whenever does a hotel has its owners serve their customers at breakfast? They definitely made us feel like royalties!

Not forgetting their great advice to help us plan our fulfilling trips around cape town, making dinner reservations, and of course finally helping me to make picnic arrangement in such short notice to propose to my girlfriend.

“Would Give It Six Stars If I Could”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2011

As everyone says this hotel delivers an excellent B and B experience for a very reasonable price. The owners and staff from top to bottom are highly energetic and engaged. They go the extra mile to be sure your stay in Capetown is perfect.

“So comfortable an experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2011

The best ways to advocate this small establishment is to highlight that:
- you can have breakfast when you want (and very good it is too) - no cut off;
- you are provided with a local cellphone (with pre-programmed numbers for the hotel and a trusted taxi service);
- complimentary drinks are offered late afternoon to early evening;
- the rooms are comfortable (bed & communal) and shower rooms well appointed;
- most importantly, nothing is too much trouble for the team.

Ok, so it is not an uber-cool, marble, steel & glass edifice with the very best of designer finishings. This place's excellence is not in its labels (relevant to some) but in the way it is run. It is completely comfortable, very welcoming & generous in nature and a pleasure to stay in. This is as comfortable as if you were going to stay with good friends who are happy for you to come and go at your leisure. And to be clear, you are not suffocated in over the top and over familiar levels of service (Thai style). Just if you want something, the team provides.

We stayed in two rooms (reason to follow). Not too sure if they were "good" or "bad" relative to others: they were very similar, one having an outdoor deck over looking Lion's Head. Perfectly spacious (given that there is a welcoming communal drawing room) and an exceedingly comfy & large bed. Shower room well fitted as well. Furniture may look slightly retro to some.

On the morning we were leaving (flight required a 1500 departure from the hotel), we were told that our day room was ready when we were packed. We had not asked for a day room (never crossed our minds) and the offer was made gratis. As it was sunny, we just lazed around the very attractive pool area, had a light lunch, used the room to shower pre-flight and effectively gained an extra day's vacation! The day room (room 9) was pretty much identical to our original room, except for the Lion's Head view. It made that "hanging around until our flight" syndrome evaporate. So many, many thanks to the team.

From a location perspective, there is no "ideal" location to stay in Cape Town. The Waterfront has it's issues, Camps Bay, whilst being most beautiful, is that little bit further out of town, and Claremont/Bishops a little further still. As such, unless you must have a view of the sea, 2inn1 is a good location compromise for the touring tourist. Most "Cape Town" destinations are only 10-15mins by taxi (call that Z50-75). We had a hire car (parked on the residential road outside) but only used it for day trips. Evening restaurant trips were all by cab. And it only took us 25 min to CPT.

In summary, 2inn1 was, as a complete package, without fault on all the TripAdvisor ratings.

Congratulations to the hotel's management & staff.

Room Tip: The Lion's Head room had a nice, private deck.

“Feel as staying with friends”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2011

We had the fortune to have a 4 night stay in this amazing hotel. It was the great final of our south africa journey. In this hotel we felt like staying with friends the wohle time and not as in a hotel.
They thought of all your questions even before we had thought of them.
You are enjoying your breakfast and Steffi is already thinking about what can be done during the day and give sugggestions for dinner, She has a wide knowledge about things to
do and knows many restaurants which could be right for you. Not only Steffi but also all staff members are as well friendly and obliging.
We were more than sad as we had to leave but we promise to come back as soon as we can.
Beside all the great service the hotel it self stays nothing behinde this. Klaus and Christoph had build a nice modern hotel in two historic buildings. Our room was very big and equipped with all modern facilities you want.
Everywhere in the hotel they have installed a nice ambient lightening.
