Stayed here for 3 nights during our South African trip after several days on the garden route. We had a room upstairs that overlooked the street with a large bed. This place feels very secure with a gate to the parking lot, and security door on the front. The keys are all color coded very well so you know which key is for what door.
Barbara, the host and owner, helped us plan out our activities and recommended good restaurants. Some highlights were a drive down to Boulder Beach to see the Penguins and then on to the Cape of Good Hope. Table mountain was a little disappointing because we froze at the top. Bring more than a light jacket! However, the view is stunning!
Breakfast each morning had all the fixings of coffee, cereal, fruit and yogurt plus warm egg items to order from the kitchen. I really enjoyed my omelet each morning. They also have an honesty bar if you need a cold drink at the end of the day.
We left for the airport and realized we had left a small tote bag with a book in it. No big deal, its not like we left our suitcase. What a pleasant surprise when a week after we returned to California, a package arrived with the bag in it. Quite unexpected and appreciated!
This place has a great location, relaxing atmosphere and tasty breakfasts... nothing but two thumbs up here.
