What a beautiful beach. The views are breathtaking. The people are so friendly, little piece of heaven.
To have this view, and enjoy being on the beach, the only place to stay is at Pinard on Sea. Absolutely fabulous, little known, Boutique Hotel (literally on the rocks) surrounded by fabulous restaurants like "On the Rocks" and "Ons Huisie" and moments that can only be created by the Cape of Good Hope.
As you enter Blouberg you are immediately mesmerised by the kite surfers - takes you a while to figure out that they are actually surfing and flying a kite simultaneously. This is as close to heaven on earth as it gets - the beach is not crowded - obviously cannot swim due to the cold water but the most relaxing beach around. loved it
What more can you say! It is the very best few in the world and the closest you can get to Robben Island apart from on a boat. We were there on a clear day and it is such a special place!
Miles of beach with great views of Table Mountain. On a windy day as many as 100 Kite surfers can be seen having fun.
