This is the ideal place to relax and unwind. The cottage we stayed in was immaculate, tasteful, warm and very private. The pool and garden area is well maintained. The entertainment area was excellent; we spent the day watching movies on the big screen. Michael and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Even though we visited in the heart of winter, Michael and his team certainly warmed our hearts with their gracious hospitality. We will definitely visit again.

This place is a wonderful place to stay at, the breakfast was fantastic, there was so much I couldn't finish it. The people were friendly and welcoming as well as very helpful.
I would reccomend this place to anybody. The rates are also reasonable for the hospitality you get as well as for the beautiful rooms we stayed in.

Stayed in April and in June 2008 at Summit Place and looking forward to stay there again.

We travel allot for working purposes and stay in different guest houses and this has by far been the best guest hous (family house) we have stayed in.

The hospitality was excellent and in a very secure environment.

The rooms are clean and the fact that it self-catering also makes you feel at home. If I feel at home I do my work so much better and do not mind if I have to stay longer. The view is an bonus the rooms l;ayout is what is more important.

My husband and I stayed in the poolside master bedroom. Was VERY spacious and peaceful. The location of the B&B is ideal -- out of the city center and Constantia is gorgeous -- but still close to lots of things you want to do (wine tasting...).

Summit Place is excellent value for money. The interiors are done simply (not the overstuffed english chintz) and you have everything you need. While the building has character (the pool and terrace is lovely!), all the bathrooms are modern, the lounge area is COMFY (we even stayed in one night and just watched a movie with some microwave popcorn :)

To top it off, Michael and Karen and awesome hosts. Chill, and not in your biz, but avail if you have a question or want to change your breakfast order. Speaking of which, breakfast was awesome.

I even forwarded their info to my husband's company so that they can contact them for their business traveler needs (they have wi-fi, too). hurrah. we were very happy to find Summit Place and will return again.
