This is the first time that my husband and I had ever stayed in a Guest House and so we were somewhat unsure of what to expect. We certainly had no need to worry. 18 on Crox is simply outstanding! On arrival after a long day's travel we were greeted by Andrew and Stephen who took our suit cases from us, showed us into their beautifully decorated and immaculate lounge area and offered us both a drink.
After our wonderful welcome and time to relax we were shown to our room. This was more than impressive. The room was spacious, modern, again impecably and tastefully decorated with a real homely feel.
Breakfast was a real delight especially for those with a good hapitite. Amstone would look after us at breakfast time and was always there to greet you with a smile in the mornings and look after your every need.
I can certainly say that if you are fussy about your accommodation, like excellent service where nothing is too much trouble then this has got to be the best place to stay in Cape Town. Hats off to Andrew, Stephan and staff who certainly know what running a guest house is all about. We would certainly recommend 18 on Crox to anyone. It is also located in a very trendy suburb and close to all major facilities such as the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain.
