The cable car itself wasn´t anything special and was quite overpriced, but the view from the top of table mountain is beautiful

A good way to get up the mountain. It feels safe and is comfortable and as it revolves the views are great. It looks slow but as the other car passes you can see they move pretty fast

The top of Cable Mountain is one of the highlights of Cape Town. The views are spectacular! There are lots of food options at the top to enjoy the evening sunset. Wines by the glass and cheese, along with really good custom made sandwiches.

The walking trails are many and easy for elderly visitors. The views on the other side of Table Mountain are just as spectacular as the Cape Town side. We chose to use the cable cars, as the walking trail looked a bit tough even for the downhill climb.

If you are not an experienced walker - it's the only way up! I hate cable cars and heights! I loved this one! They take no risks at all, It doesn't swing about, before you know it you are there and back and the views on the way are unbelievable. Don't second think it - if it's open, just do it!
