Couldn't really compare this place to many good Chinese restaurants in major cities around the world. It's a little old (like 20 years) but we found live South African lobsters and abalone here and that's what we were looking for.
The manager/chef were accommodating and we could taste the abalone steam boat style. The abalone was a nice 1kg so you could find them here. We tried the lobster ginger and spring onion fried and not bad. The crispy duck was very good and huge portion so you might want to order half a duck for smaller parties. Apart from the duck itself, the crepes that came with it was very well made, right thickness, not overly toasted and warm. Guess what, everything was good except for the fried rice! It was a little too salty for us but maybe that suited the local taste bud.
Restaurant is located 15min from V&A Waterfront but parking (side road parking only) was a bit of problem even on a Tuesday night.
