The views are just stunning. Our best tip is to always look at the weather early morning and on the first clear day get to the cable car by 9 to avoid the queues. Do not wait for another clear day as you might not get one.

Table mountain is the most dominating as well as fascinating land mark of Cape Town. Almost every area of the Cape and its sorroundings is visible from the top,especially when no clouds. The scene from the cable car is equally amazing.From the Cape Point to Table Bay and from Hout Bay till vineyards of the EAST everything appears micro in size. The climbing track from the southern face to the top though gruesome is worth the effort due change of scenery on every turn. Recommended for each visitor to the Cape.

The View from the Mountain was amazing. We went in the evening, so when we were coming back down most of the lights in the city were on, and that was stunning. It is very cold and windy at the top though in the evening, so make sure to be very warm, even in the middle of summer which is when we went

Table Mountain is the Mother of this City, and to not go up the cable car to the top would be a huge mistake. The views from the top are amazing, from looking west towards Table Bay or looking east towards Constantia or looking South towards Hout Bay and Cape Point, photo opportunities are amazing. This is a must - FYI - book your tickets on line and collect on the day, that way you do not have to wait for hours in the scorching sun with long queues, as your ticket gives you express entry up to the top.
