“Small but very interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

This gives a very good insight into past times that should never have happened. At the shop there you can buy a book about District 6 called Noor's story and Noor runs it and will sign the book for you.

“informative”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2013

This was a small museum, but full of fascinating information about a very terrible situation in Cape Town when people were removed from their neighborhoods because of color. Well worth the visit!

“Informative SA”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

The museum is on the hop-on and hop-off bus route. It is a colourful, creative and interactive look at the sad history of a community wiped out by apartheid. Recommended.

“Good but could be better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

The video, whilst informative was all over the place, and repeated itself frequently. In addition the video was in the classroom with kids having a class which made it hard to hear. It was however a good experience and would still recommend it

“Great stop to learn about Apartheid”

So many interesting documents and history in the museum from original street signs and storefronts to personal documents - a must see.
