Stayed here for 8 nights in April & had a comfortable & pleasant stay. Very big plus point is that the staff & owner are very friendly, helpful & efficient.
Each suite comprises of bedroom, kitchen, bathroom & living room with sofa bed.
Rooms are basic but spacious & clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. Kitchen has all mod cons except washing machine, but there is a laundry service. There is a balcony with table & chairs & good view of the sea & waterfront (& also of various building projects in between). . Hairdryer also provided. Safe in room. Doors tended to shut with a bang, but otherwise didn’t notice any noise in the area. No air conditioning but a ceiling fan in the living room.
Fridge packed with mini bar selection of spirits, beer & soft drinks & not too pricey.
There is a small dining room which serves breakfast 6:30/7 to 10, but need to get there early as after 9 there wasn’t much left. Selection comprises coffee/tea, orange & apple juice, muffins & croissants, bread to make your own toast. Also crackers & cheese. Hot selection of sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, boiled or fried eggs.
Apartments a 15 minute downhill walk to waterfront, rather longer uphill walk back again. Beach close by & many other beaches a short taxi ride away. There are also some shops, a deli & a couple of restaurants close by. Camps Bay was the favourite for us, lovely beach, good view of mountains, lots of shops & cafes.
There is a small pool & decking area with sun loungers plus some tables & chairs just off the dining room. These are covered in fresh towels each day & another towel placed on each for swimming, a nice touch.
