This hotel is absolutely great! in the rooms on the eighth floor and up have and open sunroof on a second floor outside where there is a braai place, table to eat, loungers and a jacuzzi for each room. The food is utterly delicious. The breakfast is to die for! There's a game room with rooms that you'll find in an arcade for e.g. Pacman. There is also a pool board and a table tennis board. There's a gym, a normal pool and a heated pool. There is also a sundeck, which is a bar with a great view. It right across from the beach and has a breath taking view. It is the best place for the family and for couples, even for business and the service is absolutely great.

Room Tip: Get the 8th floor or a 10th where there is a jacuzzi and outside balcony with a braai area. The 10th...

The Peninsula All-Suite Hotel is located across the road from the beach and the view from the room was spectacular. The hotel shows its age somewhat but is kept up and very clean. Our room was comfortable, once we learned how to regulate the temperature on the complicated remote. Our package included breakfast which offered a lot of choices and was tastefully displayed buffet style. It was very chilly in the dining area. Staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

The location and view were fabulous. The staff was very helpful. There's a market right down the street. No laundry facilities on site. The rooms themselves are a bit tired. First impression walking into the unit was disappointment. However, by day two we realized that the unit was immaculate. Old decor and chipped flooring made the place look dirty, but on closer inspection it was just appearance. No spots on the carpet or furniture. Daily maid service included. We would go back.

Room Tip: Ask for an upper floor for the best views.

We booked 3 rooms for our group from overseas. Received very bad,un-professional Service from the Receptionist. It took us 50 minutes to get the right room keys very Un-professional staff with attitude problem. When asked for a better and clean room the answer was this is a time share and that's the best we can do. I would recommend to any one as they offer noting besides location. 17 years ago we stayed here and the standard was very good. Looks like the Management is not interested in quality and service and they are just killing time. Sad to see this place go down.

The hotel has great value for money and the suite is ideal for families. Breakfast does not have a wide variety but the food is of good quality. Also it has a kitchenette attached to the room which is ideal for coffe and tea. I would recommend this hotel

Room Tip: I find the hotel perfectly situated and good value for money

Rooms are comfortable! King size bed in main on suite room. Tv channels adequate. Self catering kitchen with everything that you need but there is also a restaurant in the hotel should you not wish to cook. Housekeeping good. Porter very friendly and enthusiastic. Very central to all attractions in Cape Town. Free shuttle service to The Waterfront. Welcoming drink upon arrival. Monday night complimentary drinks and light meal in order to talk to management about your stay. Lovely pool x2 and small gym. Staff are helpful and attentive.

Room Tip: If your room borders onto the passage it can be noisy, preferably ask for a room with the bedrooms h...
