The Cape Grace Hotel is worthy of all praise that it earns. The staff is impeccable and the attention to detail is almost startling. The rooms are beautifully appointed and each one has some nuance that sets it apart. We spent three glorious days prior to leaving on African safari and we couldn't have been happier. Quinton in guest relations is a true gentleman and if ever in Cape Town there isn't another hotel I would even consider. This is a true masterpiece.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the higher floors overlooking Table Mountain and the wharf.

While some reviews over rate hotels, I concur wholeheartedly with my fellow travellers who have high praise for the Cape Grace hotel. Rooms were extremely well appointed with a separate dressing area off the large bathroom. Beautiful view of Table Mountain and the marina. The Signal restaurant was excellent and we highly recommend the six course tasting menu paired with some excellent SA wines. The Bascule lounge was small, friendly and they made a wicked mojito. Their tapas were excellent as well. Very close to the VA waterfront but far enough away that we weren't bothered by the crowds. The spa and exercise areas were beautiful and we especially welcomed the steam and hot saunas after some chilly days wandering the City. Finally the service was unsurpassed - which after all's said and done, separates the rruly great hotels from the rest of the pack.

We absolutely loved Cape Grace! The staff was friendly and were willing to attend to our every need. They always greeted us upon our arrival to the hotel which was a very nice touch. Breakfast was great, with many different choices. The location was great, centrally located. Definitely recommended!

Cape Grace is just about perfect. Rooms are elegant, well-appointed, and thoughtfully designed. Beds comfy and sheets to die for. The hallways are quiet, the staff is immediately responsive and polite, the dining room is excellent and the location at the Waterfront couldn't be better. The concierge was charming, personally responsive and immensely helpful. All in all, I have never been so happy in a hotel.

Where do I start? Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. One of the most memorable things was the way we were greeted every time we came into the hotel, "Welcome home!". Such a wonderful touch that I will always remember. Breakfast was spectacular, and the concierge was extremely helpful. My husband and I both took advantage of spa services - the pedicure and facial I had we're extremely relaxing. This will be where we stay when we come back to Cape Town.

This was our first stay in Africa after almost 48 hours of flights and lay-overs. I was truly impressed! The hotel is located in the Wharf and the decor is elegant and modern. The food is amazing and reasonably priced and the service simply outstanding. In my opinion Cape Grace captures perfectly the spirit of Cape Town: modern, chic, service oriented, cosmopolita and with amazing views of Table Mountain. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of Table Mountain. Also, try the celery and truffle soup.

We stayed at Cape Grace for the week. We decided to upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment. What an amazing view from our rooms and patio of the marina and Table Top Mountain. Although the weather was not great during our stay, the hospitality of the hotel staff were courteous. The last Thursday of the month at the hotel restaurant, there is a food and wine pairing with a local wine maker. If you happen to be at Cape Grace, I would highly recommend making a reservation. The hotel was walking distance to the shops at the waterfront. The staff made our stay feel like home.
