“I felt like home: great hosts and a very beautiful old vitorian building!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2011

We spent unfortunately only 3 nights at the lovely B & B.
The owners are very kind and outgoing and provided us every day with great directions.
The rooms are all uniquely decorated, have comfortable beds and luxurious bathroom, especially the shower.
If you want to spend time in the B & B there is a living room with TV, magazines and a honesty bar to relax.
Looking forward to my next stay...

We stayed at 6 on Scott for our son's sports competetion. it is centrally located and suited our purposes perfectly. it is an old Victorian house that has been lovingly and beautifully restored. Andy and Anne were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were delicious and fresh. We really loved our stay there!

Room Tip: Ask for one of the rooms upstairs.

One of the best B&Bs I've stayed in anywhere. Beautiful house and charming hosts made this a memorable weekend. The location is very central and also quiet as it is off the main road. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone. The bonus was it was exceptional value for money something you don't often find in the Cape.

The hosts (young family) gave us a warm cordially welcome although we arrived arround Midnight. The rooms (double room(s)) are small but comfortable with huge windows and a nice and modern bathroom. The arrangement of the house in general is rustic / modern / homelike with parquet floor, tastefully furnished and some pictures on the wall. Breakfast is served at the bright entrance hall or on the terrace. Continental Breakfast with rich buffet, prepared with fresh ingredients.

The B & B is located in Gardens, a very nice district of Cape Town with nice restaurants and a shopping center nearby. Governments Garden and Shuttle bus station are within walking distance (as well as City Center, Table Mountain and Lion's head - if you don't mind walking for a little time:)).

What I liked best was the familiar atmosphere. The hosts (English-, German- and French-speaking) showed presence every morning during breakfast and every evening for a little while, asked / cared for well-being of their guest and gave tips (tours, shops, restaurants...) when demanded.

A little disadvantage is the missing private parking space for guests. Cars have to be parked at the roadside and we experienced that this is not the safest place for a (rented) car.

Very friendly guesthouse near the center of Cape Town in walking distance to a shopping center, a park and it is easy to reach all other sights. Beautifully furnished and Anne and Andy are very engaged hosts who made our stay to a very relaxed and pleasant stay. We enjoyed staying there very much.
