We tired this restaurant for the first time on a Saturday night. It's located in the Cape Quarter Extension, a trendy new shopping/eating complex. Outside was busy on a balmy evening. Inside, which is very glitsy wasn't full by any means but was atmospheric and different. It was easy to make interesting menu choices, leaning on the excellent advise of the waitress. There is a very good wine list (at fair prices) with lots of by-the-glass options permitting smart food/wine pairing. The carpaccio and scallop starters were excellent, and the fillet steak, as recommended, was top class. Deserts also were great. Service continued to maintain a very high standard, and we were glad to be able to compliment the chef when he came around. This is a well worthwhile addition to Cape Town eating. Here's hoping the high initial standards across the baord are maintained!
