We turned up an hour and a half late, as we got delayed and then a bit lost. Given that the restaurant was full, we didn't hold out much hope of getting a table, but the manager/owner was really accommodating and helpful, saying that they'd held the table for us and the only problem was that the kitchen was closing soon, so could we order as quickly as we could.
Girlfriend had a glass of wine, which was very good. Both of our starters and mains were awesome. My main of veal with mashed potato was probably the best dish I had in our whole visit to Cape Town. I think that this was the only restaurant that we had dessert in, purely because the standard of the food was so high that we didn't want to stop eating. This was chocolate pudding, with creme brulee and raspberry sorbet - unbelievably good.
I wish that I could eat here every day. Despite prior reviews, we had no issue with the service, which was attentive and helpful all night. Parking available opposite the restaurant too.
