“An exceptional experience with best views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2013

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Atlanticview. We chose it for its location at the bottom of Table Mountain and ocean views, which it certainly lived up to. Looking out across the infinity pool we enjoyed what is arguably one of the best views one can experience anywhere. Just stunning! The suite is quaint, luxurious, artistically decorated and spotlessly clean; bit snug. We enjoyed morning walks down the winding roads to share excellent coffee at the “vida e caffe” on Victoria Road with the many cyclists from the area, and were up to the challenge as we worked our way back up the steep incline to the hotel to be served a sumptuous and beautifully presented breakfast. Service is discreet and friendly. We were however very frustrated by the poor wifi service offering, which did not match the standards of other less expensive places we visited on our travels in SA. However overall an exceptional experience.

Absolutely fabulous 5 days from our pick-up at the Airport, lovely welcome and fabulous upgrade to the Infinity Suite. The Hotel is set up on the hill above Camps Bay with wide wonderful views and the most amazing decor at every turn.
This was our second stay with Greg and his Team, although I missed out on meeting Greg again! All the staff here are wonderful making you feel very special from carrying your luggage, cleaning your room, breakfast service, taxi trips, restaurant recommendations and bookings, Sundowners and personalised Wine Tours with the lovely Mansur and Cape Tours.
As I said this was our second trip to Atlanticview and it will not be our last.

Room Tip: All rooms are wonderful

My best friend and I stayed there a few weeks ago, after a week safari, and could not wait to get to Cape Town. We were upgraded to a suite and the room was amazing. Greg and his entire team are available to help with any and all planning to make sure to ensure a great experience. We booked in advance and Greg was amazing every step of the way. The breakfast were very good, and the late afternoon wine hour was my absolute favorite! We booked a day tour with them as well and it was absolutely wonderful. I def recommend booking the wine tour and cape of good hope tours. I will definitely be coming back next year, to make more wonderful memories. Thank you Atlantic View for everything!

Room Tip: The suites are a must splurge! But all the rooms are great

Don’t stay here if you prefer a dull, standard box hotel room, down on the V&A waterfront with no view. However, if like us, you want outstanding luxury, unbelievable views and terrific service then this wonderful hotel has the lot. For the same price! We got a suite with expansive sea view, our own deck space and pool, breakfast in the room and friendly staff at our beck and call. Felt like rock stars! We also booked the extended check out and personal chauffeur to the airport which finished our trip in style. Overall it’s not cheap but it is real value for money. Will definitely go again.

Room Tip: Sunset suite has more deck space and better views than the others

This was our second trip to Atlanticview and we made it a special one by getting married there! It seems that there is nothing that Greg and his team can't do - and boy did we put them to the test! Ferrying us around making arrangements for our wedding, organising the minister, flowers, hairdresser (those guys were hilarious!), make up, a ring - you name it - they nailed it - even standing in as witnesses for us! I cannot begin to thank them all for the way they looked after us. The setting is stunning, the rooms are wonderful and the food (Oh - those breakfasts!) is amazing. We've never experienced anything quite like the Atlanticview - it certainly is unique and I felt really sad to leave! Thank you darling Greg and the wonderful team, especially the two Jareds, Kyla, Adam and of course the fantastic Mansur!

We really enjoyed the Atlanticview and we found it a perfect way to begin our trip! The staff did an excellent job looking out for us, ensuring we had what we needed, getting us restaurant reservations and escorting us around Capetown to ensure we could visit some of the local sites we wanted to see before our tour started. We stayed in the Penthouse room & found it spacious and the view incredible. The breakfasts were terrific – not only yummy, but ascetically looked nice when it came to our room. Also, the portion size will keep you well sustained into lunch! We went down for wine/canapés both nights and had the opportunity to mingle with your staff & other guests. We really enjoyed this warm/friendly touch.

Our massages were terrific – and can see why you recommend Derek! He tells us you may be building him a new room. That will be a nice bonus for folks!

Again, we wanted to thank the full Atlanticview team for their warm hospitality & would feel very comfortable recommending your place in the future. Also, thank you for remembering our birthday celebrations with the bottle of wine!
