“Superb Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014 via mobile

My husband and I returned to this lovely boutique accommodation. We were met by the owners Mike and Morgan and shown our beautiful suite. Everything was spotless with a lovely touch of fresh roses on the coffee table . The view from our individual balcony was to die for we had table mountain, sublime views so Camps Bay together with the 12 Apostles , unbelievable. Mike kindly guided us with restaurants and arranged taxis for us , all above the call of duty
In the mornings we were treated to the most fantastic breakfast everything from fresh fruits to cooked combinations.
This was a most memorable stay at the best location and mine hosts.

My wife & I have just returned form a wonderful stay at Auberge du Cap. These boutique suites are meticulously run by Mike & Morgan, who are caring "mine hosts".
We were greated and shown our breathtaking suite which was spotlessly clean with fluffy towels, crisp clean Egypsan cotton bedding.
The breakfasts and views are to die for, healthy eating with the freshes of fresh fruits, quiches and omlettes, you name it we had it.
Both were particularly helpful in arranging restaurant dining and taxi services for us. Rest assured we will be back to savour tghis outstanding value acommodation again.

Room Tip: All rooms have A/C with outstanding views. Whatever you chooose you will be happy

My wife & I rented the penthouse room for 4 nights. The owners, Morgan & Mike, were very welcoming. The room was very spacious with very classy decor. The two private patios offered spectacular views. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The pool was heated to perfection. The location is a comfortable distance from the bustle of Cape Town, but easily accessible by car. We would gladly stay here again.

Mike and Morgan were the most fantastic hosts and made our stay truly memorable. We arrived on an early morning flight from London and they went out of our way to have our room ready early, well in advance of the stated check in time, and then made us the most amazing breakfast while we waited. I will remember that morning as one of the best of my two weeks in South Africa. The weather was stunning and eating breakfast with a clear view of table mountain just blew me away.

The Bordeaux suite was marvellous, with all the comforts you could wish for. The mini bar was well stocked and very reasonably priced; we used it often. The free wifi was also extremely useful.

Mike spent lots of time with us every morning helping us plan our daily activities, and offering us insider trips of where to go and where to eat. That was above and beyond really, and made our stay really special.

I can't imagine that you would find better hospitality in Camps Bay. Could not recommend more highly.

Room Tip: The Bordeaux suite was private and had the most breathtaking views

Directions from the airport where easy to follow. Location was great, close enough to walk down (not up) to camps bay and great views from the balconies. Penthouse: Room and bathroom were clean and well proportioned. Owners were friendly and offered advise on our day trips. Breakfast was lovely, although my only comment would be a cooked breakfast available before 8:30 would have suited the days when we needed to leave earlier for our scheduled trips.

We were at the end of our family holiday in south Africa and we stayed three nights in Auberge du Cap.
As there was five of us we were given two large rooms - spot on.
Mike and Morgan could not have been more helpful as hosts , offering advice and help to make our stay perfect .
The views from the balconies are stunning in all directions .
Breakfast was excellent and sitting out on the balcony looking out over Camps Bay and up to Table mountain and the Twelve Apostles is a memory that will last forever.
We felt really welcome for the duration of our stay and would recommend it to anybody visiting Cape town as the accommodation of choice.

By the way, as an extra I earned my advance driver certificate, which Mike is sending on to me!

We stayed for one night in the suite and Morgan and Mike were very welcoming and helpful hosts. The suite was massive with a bathroom that looks onto the 12 apostles so you can relax whilst gazing up at the rocks and a large balcony overlooking Camps Bay and the ocean. The breakfast was delicious and there is wifi which was helpful for our planning.

I'd definitely recommend this place for value, setting and its friendly hosts.
