So I took myself off the 12A Spa and what a treat it was.....
From the moment I walked it I felt special ... Professional service in a beautiful Spa.
The therapist Leandri was all that and more and I will certainly make a point of returning ...
Well done to the managers and their team ... Definately worth a visit so go an treat yourself !

My boyfriend and I attended this spa as part of a birthday present and it was very nice.

I'd recommend arriving a few hours before your treatment so you can enjoy the spa facilities.

The spa has three pools, one salt water pool which is great for your skin, a jacuzzi type pool and another small one with one jet.

You can also have an unlimited amount of fruits and water and juices which feels quite nice plus at the price we paid you might as well make the most of it.

We had booked a three stage treatment and they were amazing, the atmosphere relaxed me from the start and the scrubs and massages made me feel fantastic.
The only thing i would say is that it would have been quite nice to be in the same room for our treatments however that is only a small detail.

Furthermore at the end the spa therapist had recommended a muscles relaxant to my boyfriend which we thought would have been part of the treatment as it said we would get free samples at the end, but unfortunately the cream itself was almost as much as the treatments.

All in all we both enjoyed the experience however be aware of the extra creams they offer you at the end and try to spend a few extra hours using the facilities to make the most of your money

The location and views of this hotel cannot be found anywhere else. The views took my breath away from every window, balcony, restaurant, etc. I stayed one night in a beaufitully furnished private mountain-facing room with two separate balconies. I loved hearing the sound of the ocean from my room. The decor was beautiful, with luxurious bedding and linen. The room was very comfortable and homely, with top class magazines and quality products. The room was spotlessly clean and I loved the scented B Africa amenities in the room. The extra touches made the stay more luxurious, such as the fully stocked coffee/tea station, the Twelve Apostles bag you can use while at the hotel, as well as beautiful bath gowns (for summer and winter!). I loved the fact that they sanitise the TV and DVD remotes and place them in plastic bags - excellent for someone like me with OCD! The staff were all extremely friendly and attentive to my needs. Their product knowledge is amazing and they are geared towards creating memorable experiences. Both restaurants offered an amazing selection and the food was out of this world. Definately put this hotel on your bucket list! A MUST VISIT! Thank you for a wonderful experience. I will definately be returning and recommending this hotel to everyone I know.

All of this is only possible with dedicated staff whom genuinely takes a keen interest in our guests, on what they are and would like to experience whilst in Cape Town. Situated in what must be one of the world's most beautiful locations, The Twelve Apostles Hotel exudes a friendly charm that makes guests feel welcome & truly pampered. Unlike its famous sister hotel, the Oyster Box in Durban, The 12A has a more personalised approach towards looking after guests. The reception area is small & intimate. All the staff appear to know your name on arrival (& they never forget it for the duration of your stay). You feel that you are never regarded as a 'room number' at this hotel but always a valued guest. The service is impeccable with a lot of attention to detail, but it doesn't feel that staff are 'rushed' and everyone always appears to have time to say 'hello' and seem genuinely interested in knowing how you are enjoying your stay & your opinion of Cape Town in general.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The decor is to an exceptionally high standard and combined with the views, either of the stunning Fynbos Gardens/ Mountain or the dramatic ocean, you can't beat this hotel.
The Azure Restaurant is well known for its 'Fine Dining' and it lives up to this reputation. We were told by locals that it is considered as being quite 'pricy' but coming from overseas and comparing to UK prices, it seemed very good value to us.
The Spa is amazing and the treatments very good.
The complimentary shuttle service to & from the V&A Waterfront and Camps Bay is great, as it means you get the joy of staying in such a scenic location without losing out on the benefits of being close to all the restaurants and activities of these more busier areas. We had originally planned to hire a car for our 6 nights at the 12A but with the kind assistance of the head concierge helping to organise a few tours for us with pick up & drop off at the hotel and this shuttle service, we realised that we didn't need a car... Masood Thank You!
Overall, there is so much that could be said why this hotel deserves a Number 1 ranking for Cape Town but in summary it is the hospitality shown by staff, the high quality comfort & decor of the rooms and the stunning scenic views that combine to make this hotel exceptional. We were booked for 6 nights, we extended to 9 nights and we will definitely make a point to return. In the opinion of my husband & I, The Twelve Apostles Hotel is truly unique and 'One of a Kind'!

Room Tip: If you are on a budget, the Mountain facing rooms are beautiful and you still get fantastic views of...

I stayed one night attending a business event. I had a front facing room with glass sliding doors opening onto a balcony and providing a stunning sea view from the bed.
The service and food is some of the best I have experienced in Cape Town and the rooms and public areas are beautiful.
Sundowners in the Leopard Bar is an institution.
Note that a car us a must though as the hotel is some distance from the city centre.

Dear Trip Advisor Reviewer,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience at the Twelve Apostles hotel & Spa.

We are indeed very spoiled with the most breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Twelve Apostles mountain range at the back of the hotel. The creative and hearty food with genuinely engaging service is really what puts us apart from the competition and we are very fortunate to have such good staff.

With regards to transport, although we may be 10 minutes from Camps Bay and 15-20 from the City centre it is not imperative to have a vehicle as the hotel does provide a complimentary hourly shuttle from 08h00 – 21h30 daily to Camps Bay and the V&A Waterfront.

We look forward to welcoming you back very soon.

We have just spent a week at the 12A for a family vacation - 2 adults and 3 children. Hotel was excellent / location is stunning / the attention to detail incredible but best of all are the staff. Faultless from start to finish and made the holiday a joy for us all.

We will certainly be returning

My husband surprised me for our 1st wedding anniversary with a weekend stay at The 12 Apostles Hotel and Spa. Neither of us knew what an amazing hotel this was reputed to be. Everything was awesome. The best part was the attention to detail. The hotel had a pillow menu and supplied sunblock to its visitors at the pool deck. As a guest, you were free to use some of the spa facilities. The breakfast spoilt us for choice. Being vegetarian, we were well catered for. The view of the ocean while having a meal or a cocktail is just priceless. I've stayed in several famous 5 Star hotels but The 12 Apostles best them all hands down!
