We didn’t know where to go for lunch in Camps Bay, we had been to a couple of restaurants on the beach road already but we didn't know the Raj yet.
The fact that this restaurant had plenty of Indian patrons having lunch convinced us that the food must be good, and it was!
Although the Raj is not the cheapest (but also not THAT expensive), the food is definitely worth it, on top of that they also offer a couple of very nicely priced lunch specials, which includes a glass of wine in the price so not a bad deal.
The naan bread was as it should be, delicious! My husband’s curry was fantastic and perfectly spiced, my only regret was that I couldn’t finish my main course (spicy prawn roti) as I was too full after our starters.
The view on Camps Bay beach is obviously a very nice extra bonus for this restaurant!
