“Wonderful - many thanks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

stayed for 6 nights - lovely and clean, and great breakfasts. Good sitting area with internet (and wi-fi in rooms), and a nice sitting out area at the side. Good security. The room was equipped with a ceiling fan, which with open windows (barred) front and back kept us cool at night.
many thanks to all the staff who were wonderful and helpful. good parking area at the front, and a view over the sea.

This centrally located, elegant guesthouse offers a hide standard of accommodation and comfort.
Management and staff are exceptionally friendly, helpful and efficient. Rooms are tastefully furnished with high-quality linens and careful thought in respect of occupant comfort. The addition of air conditioning would create a five-star environment. Breakfasts are superb and the entire experience invites a revisit.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms have a view but the ground-floor rooms facing on to the pool are nevertheless private...

The guesthouse is located within walking distance to camps bay beach front and shops. It's very clean and the staff are helpful. We had a sea facing room, which got extremely hot during the day as it is in direct sunlight for the better part of the day, aircon would be really great. The room was clean and the decor is really beachy feeling. Breakfast is really good and the chairs on the balcony are a really nice touch.

Room Tip: Choose the non sea-view facing rooms which are not in direct sunlight.

We only stayed 1 night here but it suited our needs perfectly. It was within easy walking distance of the beach and all restaurants in Camps Bay. Our room ( Sea View room) had wonderful views over the sea and the sunset was magical. Highly reccommended.

Room Tip: Choose a room with a sea view. Perfect for a sundowner.

Great place with laid-back atmosphere, friendly staff, luxury rooms and close to the beach strip in camps bay. They serve a nice breakfast too.

I'd say the only thing you'd wish for more is probably the availability of airconditioning in the rooms!

We stayed here as a group of 11 for 5 days to see Cape Town before we headed off to the wine regions for a wedding. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect place. The rooms were gorgeous, clean with huge beds, the breakfasts were delicious (banana muffins were the highlight for me!) and managed to keep the boys full till gone lunch time :) Yvonne and Tamara were wonderful, so accommodating with our many random requests and even left all their plates and cutlery out for us to use for a BBQ that we were having by the pool one evening. The location is great, just across the road from the beach (all the upstairs rooms have a sea view and balcony) and a short walk into Camps Bay or a 50rand taxi ride into Clifton. There is also plenty of parking. On the evening before we left, the boys decided they would like to do a shark diving trip, the hotel managed to book it all for them and they were picked up a matter of hours later. If you intend to stay in Camps Bay you must stay here!!
Thanks so much to 61 on Camps for such a fantastic start to the best holiday ever! I would recommend you to everyone I know :)

We started our trip in Cape Town and stayed here for 5 days. We had a wonderful time here in this quaint little guesthouse and we felt like we were important - nothing was too much trouble for these 2 lovely ladies - each morning they would take great delight in hearing about our adventures from the previous day. We have stayed in 5 star hotels and travelled extensively, but at this lovely place we had comfort, peace and tranquility and this suits us better than staying with the multitudes of moaning travellers at big hotels!

A big thank you to Yvonne and Tamara for making our stay in Cape Town a very special one - keep up the great work and have a very merry Christmas.

Rob & Shirley

Room Tip: All the rooms are great and the beds are super comfortable
