“Fun, Fresh but could do with better side dishes!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

really fun idea and the fish was so fresh but the vegetables it comes with were soggy and a little salty! Would highly recommend a visit!

“Great food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2014 via mobile

For sea food in Camps Bay this is the place. At one end of the restaurant is a sushi bar and the rest is a conventional eatery. You choose your fish with the waiter/ess it is weighed and priced and cooked one way. Served with salad, fries or rice, delicious and unpretentious. Like most restaurants in the area it is very reasonably priced with an extensive drinks menu. A very good wine would cost less than £20 and the food around £40 but that would be a lot of food for two, we pigged out. The wine alone is way less than half the price in UK.

“Best Dinner of our Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

Our meal at Codfathers was the best one of our trip! After we sat down and the server informed us that there is no menu and you simply choose your seafood from the glass case, we were a little intimidated and worried that the prices would be insane. But contrary to what we thought, the prices were extremely reasonable! We paid about 750 Rand ($75 total) for an appetizer, entree for 2 people and wine/beer! The seafood is amazingly fresh and we ate every drop of food on our plates.

Our server, Godfrey, was fantastic and we enjoyed his enthusiasm. Would definitely go there again! If you don't like seafood, it's probably not the restaurant for you...
