“On the Beach In-Scene Bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

You know you have arrived at the "It" scene when the bar is decorated with everything Veuve Clicquot !
Although we were just into being on the beach before our trip back to the Northern hemisphere, and not part of the "scene" - we had a fabulous experience with some of the best service you can expect in a jam-packed beach bar. Definitely the place to be if you're part of the young and restless crowd!! and/or otherwise intoxicated by the mediterranean blue ocean/ crystal white beaches of Cape Town.

“Simply fantastic.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013 via mobile

We have eaten at Paranga 3 times in the past week and have had fantastic meals and wonderful wine, the staff are really friendly (especially the Hostess who is working hard on her English sarcasm!), can't recommend this place highly enough, the Thai mussels and beef carpaccio are not to be missed. Can't wait to go back next year.

“Beautiful view for Sundowners”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Very romantic spot for late afternoon drinks. A bit pretentious but that is to be expected in Campsbay. Ask for the VIP table, it provides the best view and still has shade from the sun.

“Rip off on the beach but potential to do better”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Very poor service, indifferent food and packing in the punters at the expense of a good experience for the customers. All the tables around us were moaning about the food and the wait for food too. Shame eh?

Good Day,

Thank you for your feedback.

We would like to apologize for your poor experience and perception of Paranga Restaurant. It is most certainly not the norm of our establishment.

Is it possible to get in touch to discuss in more detail? If so, could you please make contact via email on monique@kovecollectoin.co.za.

I hope to hear from you soon!

“It’s all about the setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

The trendy vibe and the idyllic setting of Camps Bay offers a truly magical experience. There is no better place to take in the sunset than at Paranga. The seats at the front of house offer unique indoor, undercover views of the sea front. Advised to eat here by locals, we could easily see why. The interior is perfectly executed, mixtures of fabric’s, linens, lighting and soft furnishing, it offers romanticism and a experience that should not be missed.
Our starters (prawn salad and the special of crab and prawns) was clean crispy and delicious. Our mains of chicken wok fry and steak equally delivered. To accompany our meals we enjoyed several cocktails which were unique and all we hoped for. So much so we visited again another evening. Paranga has an edge, a vibe and a buzz that is not to be missed.
