We stayed here for two nights on our way through the area, heading towards Botswana. First, the drive down the gravel road to the farm is in fairly poor condition and it was a slow and bumpy ride in our 2wd sedan. A 4wd would be better. The facility has a set of individual chalets on a working farm. There also seemed to be a backpackers dorm and a large, outdoor kitchen facility but those did not appear to be in operation when we were there. Our room had a double bed and two sets of bunk beds so could sleep six. It also had a fridge, electric kettle and some coffee/tea supplies. Each chalet had a large outdoor deck with a table and chairs, which was great to watch the sun go down over the mountains. Unfortunately there were some serious problems. One of the boys had something in his bed and woke up the next morning with bites all over (looked like fleas, but maybe bedbugs?). The geyser in our unit did not work properly. When we reported it and asked for help, someone came by, somehow made it work, then said "see, it works" and left. But we still could not get consistent hot water for showers. We ended up having to leave the bathroom tap hot water running while in the shower, which at least allowed hot water to flow to the shower. But the hot water would still kick in and out at odd times, making showers either scalding hot or icy cold (often sequentially for the whole shower!). We stayed on Thurs and Fri nights. Thursday night was fine, but Friday was very, very noisy. Large groups arrived as late at 10 pm and proceeded to unload, yell, set up fires and cook dinner. They then stayed noisy until well into the early hours. So it was not a great night's sleep for any of us. There was an odd set of rules posted in the chalet, including a no-noise policy but it was clearly ignored. It would have been nice if the owners had made a 'sweep' of the area around 11pm asking people to settle down. Overall, it seemed the owners 'hid' in their house and did not bother to come out to the chalets at all. While a nice enough couple, they did seem to be somewhat reluctant hosts. Between the atmosphere, the lack of hot water and the bugs in the bed, we would not recommend this place.
