On every trip through Upington, we have dinner at Le Must, which we make reservations for in advance.
Like every venue that relies on people, they occassionally have a mediocre night - but overall the staff, owner and assistants are willing to please, and the food is good.
Le Must has some great South African traditional dishes including Tripe, Babotie (the Babotie spring roll is also a great starter), Skilpadjies (lamb's liver wrapped in a thin layer of fat) served with a wonderful sauce, but it is a little "rich", to name but a few.
The steak and sauce/topping selections are always a winner and we have noticed that a lot of the local residents support the restaurant, which speaks volumes.
