We stay in dreamfiels guesthouse in Februar 2009 and we had a very relaxing, exciting and interesting time there.

We stay in room no. 5 and we enjoy the comfort of the room. All rooms aquipped with air con and vent.
The beds are very comfortable. A very hugh shower is in ervery room.
We enjoy every morning a marvelous breakfast with everthing you can imagine.
In the evening we had our "sundowner" at the bar and we talked about the adventures of the day.
The owner of Dreamfields Guesthouse gave us many good tips for nice places to visit in the surrounding.

The guesthouse is only 10 - 15 Min. away( by car) to the Kruger Nationalpark.
There is realy nothing to complain about Dreamfields Guesthouse.
Especially hte owner Tina & Neilare very kind ans helpful peaople.
We will soon come back.

We have stayed at the Dreamfields Guesthouse just days after their opening in November 2008. The guesthouse lies in a residential area in Hazyview. It's just 15 minutes by car to Kruger Park which is really fantastic. We were really amazed by the animal viewing experience by just driving ourself into the park.
The owners are a lovely couple (from Germany and England) and always very helpful in recommending things to do in the area. Neil (the owner) is a field guide and could name all the animals we took pictures of - amazing!!
The guesthouse rooms are small but very nicely furnished with AC and vent. The nice pool with some sun chairs offered some relaxing hours.
The owners prepare a very delicious breakfast with everything you want.
The bar was perfect to relax in the evening and talk about the sights of the day.
We will definetly come back to Dreamfields Guesthouse!!!

I was looking for a place to stay that would be very close to the Kruger Park but also be 'central' enough to reach other attractions easily. Well, I found that place in Dreamfields, and much more!

The facilities are stunning, and even though the guesthouse is located in a (quiet) neighbourhood, with the big beautiful garden you feel like you are already in the bush - and sometimes I could actually even hear nearby hippos and fisheagles! But then the Kruger Park is only a 15 min drive away from Dreamfields.

Tina and Neil are the owners from the guesthouse. Neil is a bird fanatic like me, and he could point out lots of the birds that came to visit in their garden. Both him and Tina were always happy to help me choose things to do in the area and plan my trip. Like driving the Panorama Route, which I had read about but had no idea how stunning it was! They were so friendly, and they truly offered me and my boyfriend a home away from home.

We were so sad to leave, and we'll definitely come back there whenever we can!

We had the honour of being the first ever official guests of Dreamfields in November 2008. Being a brand new property and having no previous reviews (or pictures) to go on we were a little nervous of what to expect but certainly needn't have worried.

We were welcomed by Neil and Kristina as if old friends, and shown to our immaculate accommodation. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and furnished and subtley 'African' without being overdone. Comfortable beds and great showers made for a very relaxing 2 night stay at the end of a very busy 2 week holiday. Note the canvases above the beds - fantastic pictures taken by the owner himself in nearby Kruger. Small but appreciated touches such as insect repellent, hairdryer, torches & adaptor plugs supplied in the rooms made it feel more like a 3 or 4* Hotel than a Guesthouse. One thing to note - if staying here make sure you are on good terms with your room mate; the wall between bathroom and bedroom does not reach all the way to the ceiling so earplugs may be required for the squeamish!! :)

I've stayed at guest accommodation in the past where guests are expected to make themselves scarce after breakfast, but we felt more than comfortable lazing around the pool all day after our delicious breakfast (timed to our requirements as we were the only people staying!). Loungers with soft cushions and fluffy towels supplied, a little more sunshine would have been nice though!

We made good use of the well stocked bar, and must apologise for keeping our hosts up chatting until the small hours. Nothing was too much trouble and we made use of their excellent local knowledge when it came to finding somewhere to eat of an evening and booking local attractions. I heartily reccommend Elephant Whispers and the Shangaan River Club at Hippo Hollow for an evening well spent!

An excellent location for Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route; it was our bad luck that we planned to see Gods Window and the Blyde River Canyon on our last day in the country and it was too misty to see much past the car bonnet. An excuse to return though...

Many many Thanks to Kristina & Neil. May you have many years of success ahead of you.

Bex, Simon, Ross and Michelle :)
