“A Single Guys Rest Stop”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW via mobile

My first impression was not good. The parking lot is gravel absent of parking spaces. Once I got past that the staff was friendly and very accommodating. The room was average but the amenities were adequate. The Internet was fast and the TV station selection was fantastic. If you are a single guy this is perfect for you. I would stay here again IF I had to.

i usually write good to excellent reviews. i have written 2 terrible reviews and they were both on "resorts" in lake havasu city, az - different years and different "resorts" (they are NOT resorts by any stretch of the imagination). I have been unable to reach the manager, after repeated attempts, on an unauthorized charge to my credit card since we checked out on 9/11, which i am disputing. please do your homework before you book with any of the sands properties.

For 4 adults the 2 bedroom suite was perfect. A very good size well equipped for self catering. We really enjoyed our stay of 2 nights making the most of the view, the lovely pool and the huge hot tub.

The hotel also has communal BBQs and patio tables which is a really nice addition. We spent a lovely relaxing evening having a family BBQ topped off with a dip in the hot tub, what could be better.

I'd happily stay again and recommend for others.

The price is right! I stayed here last night. I actually booked the room online on my way in about an hour out from california. The rooms are clean and nicely laid out. Lisa Good, the lady at the front desk was very friendly and accomodating even for some personal effects that I was missing - toothbrush. The hotel was comfortable, quiet and with a greatlake view. I will stay here again. For the price I give this place 5 stars but otherwise I would give a 4.5 because I failed to find and bodywash for my shower.

Older hotel. Updated tile floors. Outdated furniture. Nice and quiet and the price is right. The only thing the hotel lacked was the typical amenities for the bathroom (no soap or shampoo), so bring your own! Staff was good, price was right and I would stay again.

We only stayed a couple days but our stay was a pleasant one! Managers were very accommodating. I read a few bad reviews on here but don't always believe what you read without asking first. Someone wrote there were no hairdryers in the rooms, but if you ask, they will kindly give you one at the front desk. They even had it waiting for me when I checked in. They do a wonderful job managing the place. They do lock the office, but they also give you the contact #'s if you need anything to call. I will definitely come back here to stay and hopefully they will still be here.

Room Tip: Room 12 was wonderful!!

Very reasonable prices for the area. The hotel is older but you would never know it. The rooms are clean and comfortable and all face the pool. The staff are great, friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Although a bit out of the way, this helps add to the charm as it is so quiet there with no road traffic noise. The pool is not heated, but when the temperature hits 110, its that much more refreshing. A large hot tub is next to the pool if you feel a chill. The rooms are well equipped with fridge, microwave, dishes, hot plate and pans. If you don't want to cook in, there are gas grills near the pool.

Room Tip: About 5 miles from the town center and London Bridge.
