“Lovely camp”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2014

Good rondavels with lots of space outside and all you need to cook dinner etc. Very nice restaurant overlooking the river as well.

“Great restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2014

Although we didn't have a bad experience eating at the restaurant last year, we definitely liked the Mug & Bean. The food was very tasty, we didn't have to wait long at all. Make sure they notice you entering the restaurant, when you come through the "backdoor", since we had been sitting at a table, without any waiter/waitress noticing us. Other than this, it was a great experience.

“Great Spot on the River”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2014 via mobile

The new Mugg & Bean restaurant is a breath of fresh air after the mediocre food of the past.
The place has been beautifully renovated, the staff are friendly and efficient, the menu has something for everybody and the quality was excellent.

It's a huge step up and will hopefully maintain excellent standards for all visitors.

We enjoyed our breakfast in clean, modern surroundings.

“congratulations”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2014

Hurray, at long last some decent food in Kruger Park. We have been coming twice a year for the past ten years and the food has deteriorated drastically along with the service. At least with Mug and Bean you know you will get a certain standard of food and service. The meal we had was excellent and reasonably priced. The first day we were there was a bank holiday and the restaurant was packed. The staff coped well enough, the food was fresh and hot and tasty. Lets hope that Mug and Bean can bring other standards up in Kruger Park. They have also opened in Satara and are due to open in Letaba and Olifants later this year. a pity they havent got the franchise for the rest of the camps.

“franchise fast food”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

I knew that the knp had changed its restaurants to franchised chains. I did however expect them to be a little different., however its the same as any mugg and bean anywhere. I feel the knp lost an opportunity to make the whole bush experience really special, rather opting out with plain jane fast food. service was distracted, iced coffee came without enough coffee.
rather take a picnic basket.
