We stayed 3 nights in this lovely guest house, run by Sue and Philip, who were incredibly helpful and friendly and provided us with the most wonderful breakfasts, as well as ideas for what to do with our days. Sue said she could give us enough ideas for ten days - sadly we didn't have the time!. Whilst there we kayacked up a gorge very close to the house, before walking over a boardwalk up through woods to magical pools and a waterfall, where we swam and ate Sue's freshly cooked muffins for lunch. Another day we visited Swartsberg Pass, an unforgettable drive through magical rock formations and stunning scenery.
We chose Kingfisher primarily because of the amount of birds near the property - little did we realise how many we would see, as we sat on the tranquil verandah, eating our breakfast.
Thank you Sue and Philip for giving us such a memorable stay - hopefully one day we will be back.
