“Lovely lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

The "views' are spectacular...but the food is pretty awesome as well! We were staying some where else but decided that a stroll along the beach for lunch was the thing to do. Lunch menu was very comprehensive, ranging from sandwiches to full sea food platters. We both had hamburgers....which were to die for!!! Truly one of the best burgers ever eaten, home made patties, old style chips...the portion was huge and delicious...well worth the walk for the Views and the food!

We stayed one night in two linked rooms via a small lobby. Both rooms looked over the beach through vast glass windows with balconies. The whole hotel had lovely decor and the children enjoyed the games room.

I arrived in the dark so had no idea what lay ahead.
The welcome was warm and the interior of the hotel held one surprise after the other.
My suite was very luxurious - overlooking the sea.
Once the sun was up I got to see the expanse beyond the hotel - a worthy and apt name - "VIEWS" which stretch as far as the eye can see over the Indian Ocean.
Access to a gym and spa made me very reluctant to go to work.
The attentive service of the staff made me feel like royalty.
The dining experience as well as room service had me determined to come back for more.
My only regret was that my husband was not with me to experience it too.

Room Tip: Ask for sea facing room. Book in as soon as you can to take full advantage of all they have to offer...

We stayed here for 1 night on our honeymoon.
We where taken away with the decor of this hotel.
Room was huge and overlooked the sea front - it was very windy & wet when we were there so didnt venture to the beach.
We had dinner in the Ocean Bar and it was yummy. Our waitress was so much fun and they loved my Irish Red Hair..
We where given a spa voucher as a gift for our honeymoon and they went out of their way when i asked for another treatment. Lovely experience.
Would have liked to have stayed longer.

Room Tip: Sea view room is amazing

Every inch of this hotel screams beach. Even the mountain view rooms are decked out in beige and turquoise, making you feel like you're at the seaside even when you can't see the ocean. Beach-facing rooms have floor to ceiling glass - you can see and hear the ocean perfectly. Get your dinner sent to your room (no extra cost) so as not to miss a minute of the view. Staff are wonderful and friendly, the breakfast buffet was great and had some original touches alongside the old favourites (biltong for brekkie!!). I wish I could live here.

Room Tip: It's worth splurging on a sea-facing suite

What a beautiful hotel, stunning with stunning views and wonderful staff. We got married there, was hoping to do it on the beach but it was blowing a hooley! But that was not a problem, the staff p-ulled out all the stops and in the end it made no difference whatsover. They all made our day uber special and we plan to go back next year to celebrate our anniversary. A huge thanks to fiona who organized things for us. We stayed in the honeymoon suite, which is truly amazing, spa was lovely and the treatments were just fab. We saw dolphins, whales and a flock of pink flamingos, all from our room.

Thankyou again for a wonderful wedding, honeymoon holiday, look forward to next year!

Room Tip: Just enjoy
