“Still great Greek fare”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2014

Visited Delphi again - still a great place for good food. We were well looked after by Nadine who manages to serve the entire restaurant on her own with great efficiency and a sharp sense of humour. Prices are still reasonable. Will definitely visit again.

“Still turning out great authentic Greek meals”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2014

My family decided to return to Delphi last Thursday night (31 July 2014) after quite a long absence, simply because we had other restaurants to experience. It was, however, a happy reunion, the food was still superb and "real" Greek and the ambiance, being a small restaurant was one of proper Greek hospitality. I highly recommend it for those who enjoy authentic national dining. I will be returning soon! - Colin Jennings

“A wonderful night in!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2014

We recently ate here and it was delightful. It's like eating in someone's home dining room. Everything was just so well done and down-to-earth. Well worth trying.

“Great Greek food in an unpretentious environment”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

This family run restaurant is definitely all about the great food - unlike a lot of establishments that concentrate on the interior décor and serve mediocre fare.
Booking is essential at this restaurant - there is limited seating so it fills up quickly. Parking is easily available.
The food is tasty, authentic Greek fare served in a friendly, unpretentious, family environment. The waitress had a great sense of humor and interacted with everyone at the table. By the end of the evening the Ouzo was brought out and we ended up chatting to other patrons.

We had the meze platter for starters which had a great selection of options - I would have ordered another for mains if I had not already ordered calamari! All the food was authentic, home made and delicious.
We will definitely book here again.

“Unpretentious, authenitically Greek”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

This is a very small venue (about 8 tables), situated in Morningside. But being away from Florida Road, you'll always find parking. But it's often full, so it's best to book. That has to say something about the place. The food is authentically Greek: in fact the entire place could have been transported, from well, Delphi. For me the mezze is the best thing on the menu - I keep meaning to order just that, but forget.

Prices on main courses and specials are amazingly low, so it's great value. Desserts are limited, but my friends say the baklava is the best in town.

For me, the one negative is that service can be very slow, as the one waiter is usually rushing from table to table. But, if you're just out for a relaxing evening and don't mind the wait, then you won't be bothered by that.
