We chose this hotel (which is now renamed to "Americas Best Value Inn") because of other travelers' reviews. We were not disappointed in the least. The rooms are large (Queen bed with separate sitting area, desk, table, microwave, refrig, large screen TV, separate sink area, combo tub/shower in bathroom, and very clean throughout. It looks like the hotel is pretty new. Continental breakfast had coffee, juices, cookies, cereal with milk, fruit cups, rolls. No waffles or hard boiled eggs like some more expensive places have. There is also a large in the courtyard area of the hotel. The area seems safe enough as there are several other hotels nearby along with several fast food restaurants, in a clean, pretty new-looking area.
The hotel has rooms on the courtyard side and the outer side of the compound and we were put on the outer side, which was OK as it was convenient to our car. I don't know if we could have requested the courtyard side for the same price or not, but it wasn't an issue of importance for us as we only stayed one night.
The hotel was quiet except that three or four times late at night I could hear the low rumble of what sounded like a train passing somewhere fairly close nearby, but there wasn't a whistle sounding so the rumble didn't disturb me at all. I am a sound sleeper so don't know if more trains passed by after I slept.
At a total cost including all taxes of $44.68 it would be hard to beat this hotel! We would definitely stay here again if passing through this area and needing a place to stay. As there doesn't seem to be any special attractions in the area I don't think there would be a reason to stay several nights though.
