“Mr. Clean is needed here”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2014

Well, where to start. The main door to the office had a sign to use the side door and that door didn't have a door handle. Once inside there was a very strong curry odor. The manager greeted us barefoot. Looking around, the breakfast area (if you could call it that) had 2 tables and there were still pre-packaged high-carb. donuts lying around as well as the 2 cereals. Normally all the breakfast foods are put away until next day - not here. As for our room - we thoroughly disinfected it with bacterial wipes and then used them to clean the bathroom floor and yes, those wipes were pretty dirty. In fact we washed our slippers the next morning before we left as they were black on the soles. Well, the price was right and it is on historic Route 66.

This older motel is a bit dated, but maintained decently. They appear to be budgeting updates wisely. The owner is very helpful, friendly, eager-to-please, and is not fussy about moderate use of ice for your cooler. They had a good breakfast for this price level: Greek yogurt, cereal, pastries, toast, fruit, decent coffee.

This property doesn't strike me as bad or good but adequate. The price was right and the room was acceptable. Overall, I am neutral on this motel. The check in went smoothly and the clerks were nice. I would stay here again.

Stayed 7/28/14. Arrived late at night and after calling several places, this was the only place that had a vacancy that was pet friendly with smoking room. The lady at the desk was super friendly and accommodating. I paid less than $50 plus $10 for the dog so can't gripe about the price. The place was pretty run down. The door on my room had been kicked in and the dead bolt moved up on the door to operate. The room was in bad need of updating with old furnishing one might see at a garage sale. It had a smoke odor that was strong for even my friend that smoked. The beds were uncomfortable due to inexpensive hard mattresses and I didn't sleep very well. The free breakfast was meager and consisted of pastries, juice and coffee. I would not recommend this hotel unless there were no other rooms available anywhere else.

Room Tip: I don't recommend this hotel unless there is no other choice.

We were on route 66 and couldn't stand another minute on the road we decided to hit the room as soon as possible, and the lodge turned out to be a decent space for rest and a secure stay that put our worries at rest! Great stay!

Room Tip: The price may vary, ask in davance

Went to Kingman for a weekend event and ended up getting a room to split with some friends.
The bed spreads were stained, there were bugs in the shower and bathroom, and the lock on our front door didn't even work! The grounds weren't well-kept and it was just all-around gross.
First thing I did was get home and take a shower!
The manager was super creepy as well. I know that for the amount you pay, I guess it's a roof over your head, but a little more TLC would be appreciated for this dump!

We booked this hotel at a reasonable rate, but after getting there and checking in, the manager told us it was more and that he was already giving us a deal. He was not about to budge even after explaining we had reserved at that price. Once getting to the room, I could not get the door open. The keycard showed green but could not budge the door. My husband had to get the door open. Room had stale smell. Very outdated. Stains on wall and in bathroom shower curtain had small hair from maybe a man shaving. Had to ask for toliet paper. Shower was old and certain spots felt like you would fall through. TV remote did not work. Pool is a little larger than a jacuzzi. Sink faucet only had hot water. Both days we only seen one housekeeper (same one) and the manager and his wife. A little clue to why rooms are so filty. One night the manager called and woke us up to tell us a large truck was going through the parking lot and for us to move our car. After getting up and going outside the truck was no where near our vehicle. After reading some of these "good" reviews i strongly believe the manager writes them himself "Mr Patel". Super 8 is next door and looked like the Hamptons compared to this motel. Would never stay again.
