“Great stay for a tiring traveler”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

We were on route 66 and couldn't stand another minute on the road we decided to hit the room as soon as possible, and the lodge turned out to be a decent space for rest and a secure stay that put our worries at rest! Great stay!

Room Tip: The price may vary, ask in davance

Went to Kingman for a weekend event and ended up getting a room to split with some friends.
The bed spreads were stained, there were bugs in the shower and bathroom, and the lock on our front door didn't even work! The grounds weren't well-kept and it was just all-around gross.
First thing I did was get home and take a shower!
The manager was super creepy as well. I know that for the amount you pay, I guess it's a roof over your head, but a little more TLC would be appreciated for this dump!

We booked this hotel at a reasonable rate, but after getting there and checking in, the manager told us it was more and that he was already giving us a deal. He was not about to budge even after explaining we had reserved at that price. Once getting to the room, I could not get the door open. The keycard showed green but could not budge the door. My husband had to get the door open. Room had stale smell. Very outdated. Stains on wall and in bathroom shower curtain had small hair from maybe a man shaving. Had to ask for toliet paper. Shower was old and certain spots felt like you would fall through. TV remote did not work. Pool is a little larger than a jacuzzi. Sink faucet only had hot water. Both days we only seen one housekeeper (same one) and the manager and his wife. A little clue to why rooms are so filty. One night the manager called and woke us up to tell us a large truck was going through the parking lot and for us to move our car. After getting up and going outside the truck was no where near our vehicle. After reading some of these "good" reviews i strongly believe the manager writes them himself "Mr Patel". Super 8 is next door and looked like the Hamptons compared to this motel. Would never stay again.

This property in Kingman, AZ satisfies my 3 top requirements. The manager was often seen checking on his property (instead of other hotels where I never saw another live human being my entire stay) and was fully aware of any needs I might have. Bed was very comfortable and shower had plenty of hot water! The entire room was clean and accomodating. I'll be staying here again!

Room Tip: Most of the Kingman hotels are on busy, noisy roads and the train noise is something everyone deals...

Kind staff but does not uphold advertized pricing. They charged for faxes even though they advertise in phone book that it is free. WINDOW HAD NO LOCK. WHEN I ASKED FOR SOMETHING TO USE .. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAD TO REMOVE IT SO THEY COULD ENTER THE ROOM. & WOULD NOT BE REPLACING IT. We had already paid for 2 wks & they refuse to refund anything so we had to stay. My husband used his cane to lock the window at night.. Needless to say.. he had a hard time getting around at night. On a positive side.. The king size bed was hard.. which was great for my husband. And .. like I said.. The staff are very nice people.

Quoted one price on the phone, charged a different price when checking in, given keys to a room that would not unlock, then had to track the guy down (which took a long time) and then he had to try the keys (gee, like I don't know how to insert a hotel room key) ..finally gave us a new room. The room was clean but not that comfortable. I would not go back, find another place to stay.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Econo Lodge in Kingman, AZ recently and was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and quality of the rooms. Mr. Patel, the owner was very nice and it was important to him that each and every person's stay was a good experience. I will definitely stay here again.
