“You've got to stop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2011

Forget about your 2010 H.D. waiting for you outside, once you enter the place you're getting 50 years younger ... only the prices remember you that you are in the 21st century but it's worth the value ..

“Fun place to stop, a little off the beaten path...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2011

We stopped with my wife's brother at this location because it was close to home (Kingman). Both of us are interested in old cars and nostalgia, so it was a fun stop.
If you plan on going here, it's a little out of the way, but a fun stop none the less.
They have a lot of old cars and stuff around the property, with the main attraction being the 'General Store' where you can buy Route 66 memorabilia. The inside of the 'General Store' is packed with nostalgia, one room made up to look like a small restaurant.
It was worth seeing it once, but it's about 23 miles down Route 66 off the I-40 in Kingman, so plan on a little extra time to get there and return.

“Fun stop along Route 66”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2011

This was a nice stop along Route 66. We stayed about 10-15 minutes looking around at the old gas station and store. We happened to buy a bottle of Route 66 root beer. It was awesome! They have a lot of other route 66 items that can be purchased. The people were friendly and easy going.

“Must see!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2011

I drove halfway across the state of Arizona to visit the Hackberry General Store and it was worth. This is the ultimate Route 66/nostalgia stop. The place has many old gas pumps, is covered with old signs, and has many old cars parked around the outside. It has a very 40's and 50's feel. And it's even better inside. A faux restaurant with a booth, a juke-box, a coupla hip mannequin babes at the counter with an electric bass between them. Lots and lots of souvenirs. I'm not eloquent enough to do this place justice, but they stay very busy even though it's out in the middle of *nowhere*. Like most of the southwest tourist attractions, it's a big hit with foreign travelers. The word is out. If you're anywhere nearby, make time to stop here. You won't regret it.
