“A Must See”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

In a land of wonderful natural beauty and fantastic animals this is a must see for animal lovers. You get to go into the enclosures with the Cheetahs and at the end for a little extra your entire party can pet a cheetah. This is something that is really well worth the extra few rand for a once in a lifetime experience, at least for us Americans. The guide was wonderfully well versed in the animals habits and could answer any questions that were posed to her. We saw many beautiful and exotic animals and got to see them fed (go to the afternoon session to see this)and learned all about the animals as well. What a wonderful experience for anyone to see the work of this great group of devoted animal lovers and the beautiful animals in the centre.

“A must see experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

On arrival, we meandered around trying to get the lay of the land for there was nothing exciting to see or do while we waited for the start of the afternoon session of the guided tour.

* The one facility I would like to have seen is a coffee shop catering for those who travel far with sandwiches, coffee, tea, cake...

Once all were congregated inside the auditorium and Byron the Cheetah (the star attraction) was brought in for the customary Cheetah interaction (petting, stroking, photos,) the mood changed to one of elation and anticipation. Our Guide was well versed in the history of the animal on show and kept the whole affair light, informative and above all, entertaining.

The guided tour through the vast park (a converted farm) was an engaging affair with much information been parted as to habits, individual peculiarities and feeding customs. All animals were fed in situ with much awe being expressed by the group as the minders directly fed the animals by walking amongst them; Tour Guide included.

It was an afternoon well spent.

*It never ceases to amaze how much work is being done by individuals in ensuring that endangered wildlife is kept safe and intact so that we, mere mortals can spend a wonderful day being amazed and entertained.

“best experience of my life!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

My time at the cheetah centre was phenomenal! Alan and Linda were the most welcoming people ever! Not only did myself and my group have the opportunity to get up close to the beautiful cheetahs, but we also had several chances to feed the cheetahs, play with the cubs, as well as watch the cheetahs run - absolutely amazing! Alan took us around the centre and showed us some of the beautiful scenery including a dried out dam and the "vulture restaurant". Linda took us to the enclosures of cheetahs named after Lord of the Rings characters and to the enclosure of Snuggles - the most adorable serval! Furthermore, the cheetah centre is home to honey badgers, meerkats, gorgeous wild dogs, ostriches among impala, and Jedi - the sweet Anatolian Shepherd dog. I can't recommend this experience enough! I will definitely revisit!

“Time well spent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

The tour was very enjoyable and a great way to spend a couple of hours. Although the cheetahs are no doubt gorgeous, the wild dogs hold a fascination for me as well. The five week old pups (8 of them) were just too cute! Thank you for all of your efforts as they have really paid off. My one regret was that although I saw Ayn in person, I didn't interrupt her to say hello as she was doing business.
